Terms and Conditions

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

  • Dog Walking: Solo walks only.

  • Dog Sitting: In-home pet care.

  • Dog Home Visits: Regular visits for care and companionship.

2. Dog Registration Laws

·       All dogs must be legally registered with the local council as required under the Australian Law.

·       It is your responsibility to maintain your dog’s current registration. If we incur any fines as a result of your dog being unregistered, you will be held responsible and must reimburse us for any costs, losses or other expenses incurred as a result.

3. Vaccination and Health

Dogs must be:

·       Up to date with core vaccinations (or have valid veterinary exemption)

·       Free from contagious illness

·       Treated for fleas and parasites

Owners must disclose any medical conditions or behavioural issues before services commence.

4. House Sits and Visits Guidelines

  • Ensure home security measures are in place.

  • Provide access instructions for our staff.

  • Ensure alarms are explained or disabled

AllFourPawsWalk is not responsible for issues arising from faulty locks, alarms, or unclear instructions.

5. Pet Care Guidelines

Owners must inform us of any specific care needs. Owners must provide clear written instructions covering:

·       Feeding

·       Medication (if applicable)

·       Walking preferences

·       Emergency contacts

AllFourPawsWalk will follow instructions as provided but is not responsible for outcomes caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.

6. Meet & Greet Policy

  • A meet & greet is required before any service to ensure compatibility.

  • This is complimentary service and does not incur any charges.

It is designed to assess:

·       Dog temperament

·       Handling needs

·       Safety risks

AllFourPawsWalk reserves the right to decline services following a meet & greet if dog is deemed dangerous or shows aggressive behaviour.

7. Dangerous Dogs or Aggressive Dogs

·       Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or menacing behaviour prior to commencing services.

·       AllFourPawsWalk reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where a dog is assessed as aggressive, dangerous, or presents a safety risk.

Please note: If a dog’s aggressive or dangerous behaviour has not been disclosed and an incident occurs while the dog is in our care, AllFourPawsWalk accepts no responsibility for any costs, losses, damage, or expenses arising from that incident. This includes, but is not limited to, injury to our dog walker, members of the public, third parties, or other animals, as well as property damage.

Any serious incident may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law. The owner agrees to fully indemnify AllFourPawsWalk for all costs and expenses incurred as a result of such an incident, including medical treatment and property repair or replacement. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

8. Invoices and Payments

·       Payment is required in full at the time of booking. Partial payments are not accepted.

·       If payment has not been received prior to the scheduled service, AllFourPawsWalk reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.

9. Suspension of Services

  • We may suspend services if full payment is not received prior to the scheduled service.

  • If there are safety concerns

  • Required information is withheld

10. Cancellation Policy

·       Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service to be eligible for a full refund.

·       Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be eligible for a 50% refund of the service fee.

·       No refunds will be provided for missed services or cancellations where access to the dog or property is not available at the scheduled time.

·       Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Rescheduling

·       Requests to reschedule services are subject to availability and must be made as early as possible.

·       Rescheduling is permitted only within 10 days of the original booking date and cannot be extended beyond this period

12. Emergency and Medical Policy

  • In emergencies, we will contact the owner. If the emergency requires immediate Veterinary care then,

AllFourPawsWalk is authorised to:

·       Contact your nominated veterinarian

·       Seek urgent veterinary care

All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.

13. Unforeseen Weather Disruptions

·       Services may be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled due to extreme or unsafe weather conditions (including excessive heat or severe storms) where animal safety may be compromised.

·       Where possible, alternative arrangements will be discussed. If a service is cancelled due to weather conditions, a refund or reschedule will be offered in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

14. Annual Rate Review

  • Rates may be reviewed annually and adjusted accordingly.

15. Limitation of Liability

AllFourPawsWalk is not liable for:

·       Illness, injury, or death due to pre-existing conditions

·       Damage caused by the dog to property or third parties

·       Events beyond reasonable control

Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

16. Social Media and Photographs

  • We may take photos and videos of your pets for social media or marketing unless the owner opts out in writing.

18. Refunds

  • Refunds are provided at our discretion, primarily for cancellations as per our cancellation policy.
